God Is Calling You!

 I could hear an incoming call while my daughter was watching YouTube Shorts on my phone. 


Me: Tashu, give me my phone. Someone is calling me.

Tashu (with a wonder in her voice): God is calling you!


I am flabbergasted... "Uh...What?!?" goes in my mind. I take the phone from her to see who is calling and...


It is my colleague with Lord Hanuman's pic as his DP calling me on Whatsapp! 

😂😂😂


Sure, it is God calling! And I did take her to see AdiPurush in the last few days followed by a trip to Rishikesh for Ganga Aarti where there was a huge statue of Lord Hanuman! 🙏

Turn Your Video On!

Tashu is a people's person! She loves being around people. She likes to stay out of home too for that reason.  My mother-in-law had taken Tashu to the neighbor's place. As usual, Tashu did not want to come back home when my mother-in-law asked her to. She already knew it is not time for Mumma or Papa to be back home so no need to go back as well.  Smartly, my mother-in-law called my husband and asked him to call Tashu and tell her that he is home and she should come back.  Amit (calling my mother-in-law's phone to talk to Tashu) : Tashu, where are you? Papa is home. Please come back Tashu: You are home? Amit: Yes Tashu: Show me. Turn your video on!  😂😂😂 Everyone burst out laughing at the smartness of a nearly 5 year old. She wanted proof that her father is home, before trusting his words about it! 😎 Of course my husband was in office, and so could not turn his video on to show that he is at home. He was not, afterall!
